Masterclass students from Photo Project Development 2025  - Norwegian school of Photografi (Fotofagskolen) launch their new photobooks at Oslo Negativ in the National Gallery. Opening October 11, the showcase brings forward a new generation of photographers with bold voices and fresh perspectives. The books can be purchased at the festival or through Sample Books’ online store.

Students from the Masterclass in Project Development at the Norwegian School of Photography presented their evolving projects at the Trondheim Documentary Festival 2024. The presentations offered a rare glimpse into the creative process behind their work, highlighting bold approaches to storytelling and urgent themes ranging from exile and mental health to cultural heritage and environmental crises.

As these projects move toward becoming finished photobooks, they underline the importance of emerging voices in shaping the future of documentary photography — voices that are both timely and necessary.

Sample 24/25 is at the printers and will make its debut at the Oslo Negativ Photo Festival on the 12th of October!
